Digital Impressions
You may be familiar with the traditional way of taking impressions of your teeth, which involves using a plastic tray filled with a thick, elastomeric material that hardens around your teeth. This traditional method is often uncomfortable for patients and causes some patients to gag. With digital impressions using our Itero machine, we eliminate the plastic trays and the thick material. The digital impression is more accurate and more comfortable to the patient. We use the Itero machine to analyze a patient’s bite, take impressions for crowns, bridges and clear aligner braces (Invisalign).
